Welcome to Cafe Naantalin Aurinkoinen, a delightful gem nestled at Humalistonkatu 16, Turku, Finland. This charming cafe stands out not only for its prime location, just a stone's throw from the railway station, but also for its inviting atmosphere that wraps you in warmth the moment you step inside. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, it’s a perfect spot to begin your day or recharge during your adventures in Turku.
The essence of Cafe Naantalin Aurinkoinen lies in its friendly service and cozy ambiance, where patrons feel at home. Guests like Karolina have praised the cafe for its delicious coffee and welcoming vibe, making it an ideal gathering place for friends or a quiet moment alone.
When it comes to the menu, variety may be limited, but the quality shines through. Savor the enticing flavors of the freshly prepared salmon on rye bread, highly recommended by Juha Kaunisto. It’s a simple yet satisfying dish that exemplifies the cafe's commitment to using quality ingredients. If you’re looking for something lighter, don’t miss out on their affordable sandwich options, a hit among patrons like Kearl Hat. Pair it with a hot cup of coffee, and you have a winning combination that won’t break the bank.
All of this happens in a small yet accommodating space that still manages to provide enough seating for an early bird breakfast, noted by Tuomas Kallio. In fact, one of the hallmarks of this cafe is its early opening hours, a rarity in Finland's coffee scene.

I had a 5 euro sandwich (I call them 5 euro sandwichs because everyone has them and they cost 5 euros) & a coffee & it was really good. Service is professional & the restaurant is small, but there is still enough seating if you want to squeeze in. Also, they are open before 10 am, which is unusual for a coffee shop in Finland. I highly recommend Cafe Naantalin Aurinkoinen if you ever find yourself hungry or thirsty before 10 am in Turku, Finland.

Place is quite small and provides relatively small variety of items. Cakes and chai latte were good.
